Automatic measurement in seconds of complex miniature components
Enhancing our current quality measures, the Keyence kit measures components placed onto the stage using high-definition imaging. At the touch of a button, simultaneous, 360-degree multi-surface measurements are captured with a 20 megapixel CMOS sensor for fast, accurate and consistent measurement results.
Eliminating operator error and potential anomalies caused by manual inspection, this three-dimensional system with an automated rotary feature analyses products, measures 300 different features and reports on measurement instantly, producing results quickly to avoid hold-ups in production and supporting the measurement and monitoring of more parts during each run.

1. The Keyence system's integrated display allows our team to measure and instantly analyse miniature and complex components, assemblies and parts during either quality control checks or as part of a product development process.
2. Small plastic components are placed on the stage and the system operated with the touch of a button. The technology takes around 300 measurements in seconds, delivering results to the PC and allowing for the print of instant test data if required.
3. The instant test results of this batch of components show the simple and easy-to-operate system in action, identifying measurements and anomalies otherwise virtually invisible to the naked eye. The strict tolerances operated by our clients necessitate this level of precision, supporting our continued delivery of reliable components and parts which are ready for use in the field and trusted to perform.
4. The system's high-definition imaging is used to take 300 different measurements with pin-point accuracy on this component as part of a product development project. Our Production Manager is able to quickly reference the component against client specifications, supporting efficient working processes in order to meet our client's timescales.
