Component & injection moulding tooling design & production

OF Bell only creates tooling for our own client projects; we don't produce mould tools for anyone else, and we don't buy tools in from others. As a result, our tooling workshop is dedicated to the exclusive design and production of tools for your project, ensuring complete confidentiality, consistency and accuracy of miniature parts and complex components once in manufacture. 

Equipped with 3D CAD modelling capabilities and leading tooling equipment, production of tools to manufacture our clients' smallest components and parts is fast and efficient and managed entirely in-house. Cost-effective tooling design by experienced engineers maximises output from every mould injection, keeping waste to a minimum while getting miniature parts and components into production quickly. 

Injection moulding of miniature plastic components

Robust, quality-assured injection moulded miniature components and parts are produced in-house by OF Bell in the North East. Our team has invested heavily in specialist plastic injection moulding technologies dedicated to the accurate and efficient production of small, complex parts, with clamp forces from just 6T up to 60T, and shot weights from 0.5g to 165g which ensure plastics do not degrade during production.

ISO-certified quality standards are maintained throughout production by our team's in-process sample testing and output inspections, supported by precision tooling that maximises consistent and uninterrupted, 24-hour plastic injection moulding, overmoulding and insert moulding processes.    

In-house, fully-tested assembly of complex electrical assemblies

OF Bell delivers the complete, end-to-end supply of fully-tested electrical, electronic and magnetic assemblies made in the UK at our dedicated manufacturing facility in Bishop Auckland, in the North East of the UK. Specifically geared to the production of miniature parts and electrical assemblies, in-house capabilities include coil winding of wires down to 0.0125mm, pressure and vacuum potting of epoxy and polyurethane resins, cable harness assemble, cable preparation, insert moulding and overmoulding.

Used by sectors including oil and gas, automotive and manufacturing, OF Bell's production of complete components includes in-house assembly and testing. By replicating conditions in the field, for example magnetic field, pressure or acoustic testing, our team ensures components' suitability and durability for end uses.
